I seem to have a rattle that appears to be from the Bluetooth module, best I can tell. It’s also stopped working recently, so perhaps a loose connection banging around? Going to pull the carpet out soon and check it as the noise is driving me mad!

Gave it a bath. Once dry, I'll 303 the top. Tomorrow, jack 'er up and start on new front control arm bushes; don't expect to finish because She Who Must Be Obeyed has other plans, I hate laying on my back on cold concrete, and Amazon was a bit too quick getting me my parts, but the jack stands will certainly give everybody some impetus to get the job done.
In the past week, plastic welded the cracks in the front-most bellypan, replaced the stupid square drive self-stripping fiddly screw things that hold the slam plate on with real, actual SS screws, replaced expansion tank cap (leaking a bit, I think), ground the flange nuts atop the struts to fit the taper in my strut brace, managed to break the left side plastic piece of overpriced crap that holds the bumper cover up, had a good time with Carly coding things in and out and all 'round, put a bit of neatsfoot oil on the seats, and drove a couple of hundred miles. All in all, not a bad week.

Thoroughly cleaned the wheels and protected them with Gtechniq C5 Wheel Armour. Never used it before but heard very good things about it.

I've sat watching the z on its holiday over on the other side of the road. The neighbour is letting me park on her drive whilst we have some building work done.

I took my car to Obsidian detailing last week, collected it today, it looks so much better than before and so it should ! - 10 years of swirl marks, scratches and other marks all disappeared, the paintwork looks fab for a 11 year old car

How much did it cost you?
I did my car myself last weekend but spent around £220 on a decent polisher, pads and polish. My total order with cleanyourcar.co.uk was £400 with all the extra bits I got...
