Serious downgrade on the tyres, Star Performers are rubbish. E for economy and B for wet grip so they don't use less fuel AND they don't grip. Poor decision.

Found out that there is actually a limit as to how fast it'll go. (Yes it was on an empty road and no I am not going to divulge where that road was).

Now I've done it, I doubt I'll ever do it again.

STUBOY, cheers. They are WH12 schwarz. Great service from MyTyres. The things weren't supposed to be here till next tues :D

Steve8. Must admit I was concerned myself having always had PZero but they were the only tyre that could be supplied with that wheel. If I went down to 18 I had a choice. I was comforted some by http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/accessorie ... yre-review

Can always swap back to PZero should I feel worried.

That's a terrible review and backs up what I thought, I'd have bought without tyres to get the choice. Your car, your extra braking distance though so you pays your money and makes your choice.

A successful day today:

Black and chrome kidneys swapped for matt black

'Rpi' scoop added

Got the back calipers finished off, not the best picture but you get the idea, new centre caps also...

I also made the most of having the rear wheels off and got the roof drains checked and washed the rubber ends.

Love the grill work boys. Gives me ideas for mine. I thought that seen as though the interior of mine is showing its miles I would while away some time waiting for the rain to clear and have a bash at this vinyl thing.

Before:

After:

The original were very tired, looking although in that pic they look pretty good.

I like the contrast here. Was going to do the whole centre console but not sure now.
