Thanks Mack, I'd like to say I've finally completed all the mods I want. However, I've said that before - I thought the DLV back box was the last but then these wheels came up I honestly think that's it now

Is addictive isn't it. I promised the wife no modding when I bought mine. That lasted less than a week. The problem is there always seems to be something else just when you think your done!

Yep! Have you got a link to your Zed and the mods you've done so far?MACK wrote: ↑Thu Jul 06, 2017 1:15 pmIs addictive isn't it. I promised the wife no modding when I bought mine. That lasted less than a week. The problem is there always seems to be something else just when you think your done!

I havent really, I think I have only ever posted one photo of mine and that was one my wife actually took in the lakes last year. I'm not the most photo orientated person. Although I did post a few of my interior when I carbon fibre wrapped it but that must be 20 months ago now.Marlon wrote: ↑Thu Jul 06, 2017 1:18 pmYep! Modwise, now there's a question. I have never made a list, probably because I would cry if I sat down and worked out how much I've spent! For sure the missus would kill me if she saw it aswell.
The main things that spring to mind are the M Sport Seats and Steering Wheel (replacing the royals one I had for 18 months).
Facelift headlights, side indicators and 4 clear spot rear lights. Clear rear brake light (now on number 3 long story)
fore mention interior carbon wrap.
ZHP.
15/20mm spacers (same as yours)
M Spec tyre sizes.
Retrofit cruise and cupholders. Stubby however I mainly run the whippy for better AM as Talksport is my radio station of choice.
Done a number of coding changing with a combo of Carly, INPA & ISTA.
Sprint Booster
MM exhaust tips, although I'm thinking of changing for the rolled type.
LED interior light bulbs.
Had Mike (DLV) relocate my roof motor a month or so ago, he's definitely got that down to fine art.
Trailing arm bushes replaced and limiter kit fitted ahead of suspension refresh
Parrot mki9100 with screen hidden in ashtray and remote mounted to cig lighter blank so I can remove it and shove it in the glovebox, pull the ashtray cover over and it look oem.
sound generator foams put back in (mine did have them in when I got it). What can I say I'm getting old!
B12 kit I've talked about for must be 9 months bought but not fitted.
I've probably forgot a few things and apart from the above the usual manitenance/repairs as well as things like vanos seals that most dont do etc.
To be honest if I knew when I bought it I would end up doing so much I probably would have started my own thread.
to do list
b12 kit fitted and aligned
sound deaden the doors.
recon the 107's
Slip diff.
and finally use the dodo juice supernatural hybrid wax I bought a while back.
Here's the only snaps I have of mine, not great photos I know.

We've done many of the same mods
You need to post pics more often - the last pic over Wastwater is a corker

Sorry to jump in on your thread Marlon. Hope you don't mind. Did you do the carbon wrap yourself Mack? It looks fantastic and a big improvement on the aluminium finish. Is it wearing well? What was it like to do?

no worries, I keep updating page 1 with the mods list and pics. The rest of the thread can take off in any direction as far as I'm concerned

Sorry Marlon I did get a bit carried a way on your thread. Should just have started my own and linked to it.
IRD yes its wearing well, look like new still and the hardest bit of the job was probably removing the centre console.
In terms of wrapping the hardest bit is the the curvy plastic pieces between the handbrake and gear lever which was a bit fiddly to get right.
Apart from that it was relatively straight forward, just cleaned everything with isopropol alcohol spray first and used a hairdryer to mold the sheet where needed.
I having been toying with the idea of getting another set of trims and painting them Titanium silver to match the exterior. Think it would work well but not sure.

Just to take you back to this Marlon, I meant to ask you at the time what you used to paint them. The black does look classier, black rollover hoops is one of those subtle things that I think make a big difference, they really help to set the M's apart from the crowd. I should have added this and black A pillars to my list!

Thanks Marlon,
Its addictive this modding thing! Everytime I buy a car I promise the missus no mods honest, she says "like that's ever likely to happen".
I think I need to get my arse in gear get the buffer out, detail it and use the new wax and take some snaps.

I've no regrets painting the hoops and A pillars matt black. I can't ever see me wanting to go back.MACK wrote: ↑Thu Jul 06, 2017 4:34 pmJust to take you back to this Marlon, I meant to ask you at the time what you used to paint them. As for the paint, for the hoops I just used what I had in the shed, which was a matt back water based cheap small pot of paint (could have been from the Range, but can't honestly remember).
On close inspection you can see some of the brush strokes, so really I should take them off and spray them, but I wanted to see what they would look like first and its a good enough finish for now.
The A pillars I sprayed with Plasti-kote and then touched up with the other paint and a small brush.
