Hardtops off yet?

Who's taken their hardtop off already?

We've had a few nice sunny weekends over here in Holland but my zed's laid up atm as I have a loner to use from a client So I may as well leave the top on until it's 're-commisioned' around end of April. Been a wrench not to be able to get it out with the top down for some early fresh air shennanigans tho!

Winter kit. Brrr.

I'm thinking I will remove mine when British Summer Time begins on the 26 March :) :driving:
Have to say I've enjoyed the hardtop winter experience.

Yes - I've ordered Plasti Dip, should arrive today. Just need some dry weather now :)

I'd suggest thoroughly cleaning any wax/polish off so it adheres as best it can. It's going to be in a high airflow area there and will naturally want to resist/pull away. Not wanting to sound pessimistic for you but it will be interesting to see how long it lasts. My winter wheels already started to peel away from the valve edge a week after dipping them...

Agreed - I'm using Plasti Dip so I can see what it looks like in the flesh, if I decide I'm never going back to red then I may remove it and spray with primer and gloss black top coat. Like you say Chris, it depends what it looks like and how it holds up against the elements. Hopefully it will fair better then your alloys - its a flatter surface and not as fiddly as spraying around a valve.

I had the roof down to and from work yesterday and again on the way in this morning, they should all be off by now! :poke:
