Six magnets, one each corner and then top and bottom in the centre. Think the ///M from bumper might be more vertical than non ///M.kis wrote:And you run yours symmetrical? i.e. one magnet on the top and one on the bottom? I saw that video too, have you got magnets on the inside of the bumper?
I think they are about 8mm diameter and 3-4mm thick.

mine here, not-that-legal sticky tape plate.
Very happy with it, just need to stick the original plate for the MOT.

Already running the old Velcro! Holding up well (ran for a year or two on the e46), but either the hook or loop pad is left on the car... so trying to look into other options. Looks like it's magnets FTW! Thanks tho!mr wilks wrote:My current roady came with the front plate holder removed & painted smooth .

Not sure I follow buddy! Do you use tape? Or just something sticky? Any links?Argenta wrote:mine here, not-that-legal sticky tape plate.

Sorry to be unprecise, it's a "sublegal" reg.plate in reflective tape.
Bought here:

Another pic in sideview, I really like how the profile of the bumper change without that huge plate holder!
