Storing a car for 2 years

I'd take the 22k you have been offered, as CJ says although laying a car up for 2 years will keep the mileage low, it probably won't appreciate in value enough to cover your storage costs.

Storing a car for 2 years

Storing it does seem expensive but i guess you also get full peace of mind.
I have an empty double garage and would happily let you rent half for a lot less than £150 a month but i dare say any arrangement with someone you dont know or trust would be quite hard to figure out.
Willing to try though, if its of any interest drop me a PM.

Appreciate the offer but I've come to the unfortunate conclusion that selling is the best option.

If anyone needs me I'll be crying in the corner :-(

If the Z4M Coupe is still available I would be interested, sounds like a good spec from your signature!

Hi Mike

My decision to sell lasted about 3 days. I've decided to keep it, viewing a couple storage options this weekend.

If anyone is interested, I've visited and agreed to store the car in this place:

http://www.jordanscarstorage.com/

The chap who runs it is a gent. Brilliant facility, very secure, and I actually think it's good value considering I'm in the more expensive end of the country. £140pm.

I would say my car will be in bottom 20% in terms of value, some serious cars in there. Mostly London or international people who own multiple luxury/super cars and need to swap around depending on their needs. He will get it MOTd annually and/or start and exercise the car as I wish.

This a heart overruling head situation.
