I've taken my front bumper off today and refurb my headlamps.
What's these two electrical items in the n/s wheel arch lining , facing the ground?

I'm guessing one may be the temperature sensor. One is like a probe, the other is a flat disc.

One is outside temp sensor for dash display the other is a temp sensor for your heated washer nozzles.

Thank you.

I'm surprised the washer nozzles need their own sensor. I didn't know they were even heated!

Unfortunately the rubber tube that connects them isn't, so in cold weather mine still didn't work :D

Neither do mine! I'm now on BMW No.5 with the washer heaters and all have been filled with anti-freeze additive, but none has worked when there is a frost.
