Fresh MOT and improved emissions results

Post by Ewazix » Tue Mar 28, 2017 2:56 pm

The Zed just passed it's 7th MOT in my hands, all good with no advisories :trampoline:

I'd re-built suspension and brakes as required over the winter, it's recently had an Insp 1 service with all the filters etc so I filled up with V-Power gave it a good hot run and left it for MOT. Although emissions have always been well in spec it was interesting to see that all the emissions were lower than previous tests with fast idle HC down from last years 26ppm to 5ppm (limit is 200ppm) and idle Co was unmeasurable being down to Zero (limit is 0.3%).

Looks like the old advice to have clean oil, air filter, good fuel and an 'Italian tune-up' works
