Rattling in rear wheel

Post by Jamo96 » Tue Mar 28, 2017 5:03 pm

Hello guys I'm new in here having recently purchased an 2.5 in sterling silver, I'm having a rattle coming from the rear drivers side, I've taken the wheel off to find a spring has come loose in the hub, if anyone can advise me on what to do I'd be very appreciative.

Rattling in rear wheel

Hi and welcome!

Looks like something stuck behind the brake disc? Try taking it off? (Allen key type bolt seen in pic). May need to remove the caliper to access?

Maybe post pic of brake disc removed?

Good luck!

Thanks guys was wondering what type of spring it'd be, will take a look on the weekend, not overly serious is it?

Update: need a new dust shield and spring set, simple enough job, could be a fairly popular problem so if anyone hears the rattle would be a good idea to check this!
