Yet another bulb question!?!
I want to replace the illuminated bulb below so that it is more white. Currently it has a yellowish tinge to it. I already have Xenons so I just need to swap the bulb (I hope). Any product suggestions and links would be greatly appreciated.

Yet another bulb question!?!
Hi mate, I've just recently changed them in mine.
They're BA9S size. I changed them to these:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/152465723232? ... EBIDX%3AIT
To give this result: It's a case of removing the wheel to get access (not enough access with wheel on full lock). Then it's two torx bolts to get the bulb holder off, next carefully pull off the connector from the holder.
Pull out the halogen bulb with a set of pliers.
Next you need a small cylindrical file to create two grooves for the pins of the bulb to go through. (It's a bayonet style fitting).
Then reverse to fit. Just remember LED's have picky polarity!
It will give you a bulb warning light on the dash, which you can remove by creating a loop in the circuit (I'm yet to do this!)
For reference, here is another thread that might help you: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=87473&p=1292633&hil ... t#p1292633
Hope that helps!

Thanks for the detailed response...it's seems a lot more work that I had hoped just to change a bulb!Tcochrane92 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 19, 2017 9:18 pm Hi mate, I've just recently changed them in mine.

Yet another bulb question!?!
Exactly what I thought when I researched it! But it was a long Easter weekend with nice weather.. so thought I'd go for it. Took me a total of about 30 mins with phaffing around with taking the wheels off etc, it's honestly not difficult at allidej_jedi wrote: ↑Wed Apr 19, 2017 9:24 pmThanks for the detailed response...it's seems a lot more work that I had hoped just to change a bulb!Tcochrane92 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 19, 2017 9:18 pm Hi mate, I've just recently changed them in mine.

Yet another bulb question!?!
If it's a BA9s bulb then get some OSRAM LED ones, then they're genuinely fit and forget. You will get a bulb out warning and so the best option is to code out the check. A local member might be able to do this, or if you're near NW London I can do it.

Thanks for info bud. Not sure this is something I'll be able to do, shame in not near you - might be worth the 500 mile round trip to get it done.Scooba_Steve wrote: ↑Thu Apr 20, 2017 9:50 am https://www.osram.com/media/resource/HI ... cht-en.pdf

If you're ever in London come visit. Buy me a beer and no more bulb outs for you!
There's also the option of rear brake, indicator and reverse if that took your fancy.
