Well apart from installing they hydraulic lines on the steering, bleeding the brakes, and some wiring I think that's me done. I have the new injectors on order once they arrive and the other jobs are done it's rolling road time. Fingers crossed it's running by the end of the month. So hopefully see lots of you at zed fest!

I can see you might have to pack a little conservatively if you go away in the zed now Mat 😄
Good to see it nearly finished 👍

It's not actually taking up that much room. And the wife won't go in it anyway plus there are 3 of us and a dog now so the car was never going to be used if we go anywhere!!

You're braver than me. I was contemplating supercharging my car but would never start spending without some indication I'd get covered for less than £1,500.

I'm sure you'll find something though.

Absolutely bonkers. I love it. Your going to need two stop watches to figure that once it's done.

One for the Turbo lag and one for what happens next. :driving:

How long it takes to find a ditch!!

We will see but i don’t think lag will be a big issue. It has actually been thought out and research for a very long time. But i have not ever done this so yeah i could be wrong!!

Nice bit of work there , I've only just seen the thread . I've seen a rear mounted turbo on a 205 gti , It was featured in a magazine , practical performance car or something like that . I'm sure the lag wasn't that bad and seem to remember all the comment from the mag were positive

I bet a turbo 205 is fun!!!

Conventional thinking says it won’t work. But it does seem to lots of people have done it. You just need to use the right turbo.
