If you're going to fit big brakes or drilled discs the 108s will show them off better. I prefer 107s, they're more interesting to look at imo.

Did you get the 107's from Dartford last week on eBay? (£167). I was watching them and lost signal when I was going to bid (on holiday in Southwold countryside) :headbang:

Oh no, nightmare! No, I got these a couple of weeks ago from a guy in Aylesbury. He'd bought a sweet set of CSL reps.

I've just swapped my 108 alloys after nearly 4 years to a set of 107s and I think they look great. I wasn't sure if I liked them as much but they look much better on the car than off. Also I'm hopefull they won't have the same corrosion issues. My 108s were starting to corrode again and were only refurbished last September (I've never used acid wheel cleaners either and clean them every week).

Cheers,

Jon.

What he say's, the 'machine' look of 108 is the trademark wheel for the non ///M e85 roadsters IMHO. It really suits the milled-out flame styling, particularly on metal colours like silver and sterling. Not so sure on the coupe though.

I used to be 108 all the way and was intent on getting rid of the 107's from my recently purchased Zed. However the 107's have really grown on me, and a nice set of refurbished ones would look great.

So for me it would be 107's as they are kind of unique to the vehicle.

A completely stock 14 year old 2.5se, surely it couldn't look any better on factory wheels? 8)

Kind words thank you, I tried it and failed in the May 16 competition but there are some seriously good photographers and cars on the forum... and those pesky red cars keep photographing so well
