Hi chaps,
Can't make my mind up on wheels for my Zed. Got 108s currently and just got hold of a cheap set of 107s.
I love the look of the 108s but the corrosion issues are a pain. I can't work out if I like the 107s as much, not sure why. I flip from 1 day to the next, so figured I'd get a view from the community.

So, which style feels the love....?

Its 107's for me over 108's I've decided that at least. I know where your coming from with this can't make your mind up business. Its why I still haven't got around to refurbishing my 107's after nearly 2 years of ownership. One day they're staying the next they're going :headbang:

I like both! There's no option for that! I think 107s and 202s are the best looking standard zed wheels, I set out to replace my 108s with 107s but I came back with another set of 108s! They are a pain to keep in good nick but damn they look good when they're immaculate! Still would like a nice set of 107s though! :headbang:

In the current political climate, I think it may be described as a snap poll!

Not a huge fan of either, but 107s are better by a country mile imo!

This.

The 108's IMO look much better than the 107's. I had a "oh my god 108's corrode?!" moment and temporarily switched allegiance to 107's again. Corrosion / wear aside the 108's just look more modern. More aesthetic. So I'll have to refurb them sooner but so what? Small price to pay. I've got a set of each at present and side to side the 107's do look a little dated now :(

Failing that there is no option for 224's. If you can afford (or hunt out a bargain) these supersede the 108's in terms of style. They also fit a lot better too.

Agree with you on the 224s, Kis - I didn't put them on because they'd have won by a landslide!!! I missed out an a well priced set due to my own stupidity and am kicking myself now! There's a set on here but they are Β£800 which is way out of my budget, considering the Zed is a 3rd car for summer use. It's fascinating to see the differing opinions of people, and good to see others have had the same indecision. I love the look of the 108s, but they just deteriorate so fast.
First world problems, eh?

I guess you're right about the 224's. So quite right to leave them out

It's only a matter of time before even 107, 224, etc will need refurbing too. You're going to have a mishap eventually :(
With 108's you're maybe biting the refurb bullet early, but it's an inevitability for everyone...

107 for corrosion resistance, 2 tone 108 are cool while in good condition, but either CSL or 224 are the best.
