URGENT SEAT QUESTION!!

Post by Ducklakeview » Sun Apr 23, 2017 5:11 pm

Thanks all. Just given them a clean and treat with AG leather balm as it was all I had in the garage.

Car seriously needs a clean as it's minging, so will post pics up when done.

Have to admit that I've said for a while that the only things I'd change on my car were the seats and wheel. Was happy with my royals one until I saw (and felt) Dameons shiny new ///M wheel on Thursday when I did his roof mirror, and I knew I wanted one!

Right place, right time and all that..

Sounds like a very productive trip :)
I have made the same two changes to mine - M sports seats and ///M wheel, huge improvements to the driving experience IMO :driving:

Yes, I know, the car is a mess! I'd just driven 700 miles in it!

Very nice Mike  . Be snug as a bug etc, wrapped in the loving arms of those \\\M sport seats.
Looking at your steering wheel, just wondering if the wiring for MFSW is in place, ie, could you swap it for a MFSW or would you need to put in a loom (which may make it too much faffing around)?

As my car is an early one, then the wiring should already be in place, it was for the cruise. TBH, the plastics are a bit marked, BUT these wheels don't come very often at all, a bit like the seats, so it was a no brainer to swap, even though mine was refurbed only a couple of months ago.

The difference in feel from the combination of the seats and wheel is amazing..

I'll keep a look out for a set of MFSW switches and plastics though.

PS have got your PM, I'm on the job!

+1. These two mods and the ZHP are definitely the best I've done. The trio together are very tactile, they make the car feel like its a completely different vehicle to the one I started with.

Great work there!

Sports seats is the one thing I wish my car had. I have a feeling it's going to be on the 'wish list' for quite some time.

ZHP, M wheel and sports seats + 4 wheel alignment = completely different car to drive IMHO.

Seats and wheel look great Mike :D
