URGENT SEAT QUESTION!!

Ok, I have the opportunity to swap my electric heated standard seats for a set of sports ones. They are heated but manual. Are the bases a straight swap, ie converting the sports to electric and vice versa.??

Well it cost me 2 hrs of my time, swapping a broken Z3 roof for another one. As payment I got the seats!

All in and just gotten back from my 776 mile road trip.

The manual Z4 sport/M seats are a nicee (not sure how you spell that) and guys that track their cars will be all over you like a rat up a drain pipe. Congrats they are awesome!!

I did the exact conversion years ago. Manual red sports refitted to my heated electric memory standard. There's my thread somewhere.
It's easy but time consuming and you have to do some jiggery to disconnect the backrest heating pad loom. Recall I took the main connector plug apart.
Standard seat squab goes outside back rest support posts and sport inside..
Just get them both side by side on the bench and you'll soon figure it all out
