Someone stole my car cover :'(

Need to vent..

So I spent the Easter weekend making the paintwork on my Coupe absolutely perfect. Perfect glassy feel... showroom finish. Lovely.

Since then, I've had her parked up under a waterproof, quilted outdoor cover at my place. I spent last night in Nottingham at my girlfriend's, car under the cover as usual...

Went out this morning to find the retaining straps cut through (ends still tied to the wheels!) and the cover gone. No damage to the car though... no sign of forced entry and don't recall hearing the alarm at night.

Pi$$es me off, because it makes me feel extremely unsafe to park my car at my girlfriend's.

Why on earth would you cut someone's cover off, and leave with the cover?? Baffles me..

Sorry to hear that Tim.

The stupidest part is that they pretty much wrecked the cover by cutting the attachements, but from your heading I had visions of the car having been damaged - thankfully not!

Sadly we have to share the world with morons like these.

Thankfully your car is untouched. A real p£&&#r they took the cover but is easily replaced.

The worst part is that I have to park there when visiting the girlfriend, and I don't feel comfortable leaving it there anymore

Proper gutted! Worst thing is by cutting it surely it won't fit on anything else properly?

Maybe that were checking what car was underneath it?

No, they took the cover off because they thought it was a roadster and therefore worth pinching but when they saw it was a coupe they thought the cover was better value
