Spacers advice

Post by Rusky » Fri May 19, 2017 10:03 pm

Just been looking at spacers and its a mine field out there guys :o :o
So i have 18" rims, so what spacers do i get??? I am running eibachs
Do i get 20 rear, 15 front?
15 rear, 12 front?
or am i better going the same all round? 12? 15? 20?

I dont want to ruin the handling but i want the wheels to fill the arches better now its on the pro springs. Give me your opinions, advice and experience please, all will be much appreciated.

Lowered on Eibachs but without knowing the wheel widths & tyre sizes i would opt for 15mm rear 12mm front ( hubcentric )

I have the M Sport suspension on mine, running 107's with std rubber. 15mm front & 20mm rear, REALLY improves the look and ZERO rubbing at all..

Not to the detriment at all that I've found.

These bits of machined metal are very satisfying. I might have to take them to bed with me

You guys don't drive hard enough, spacers do affect the handling for the better. I'd recommend 10 or 12 all round as you don't want more track width on the rear compared to the front unless you like more understeer. I use 10 and looks wise it's fine to me.

Thanks all. I think i might get 12s all corners and keep the difference front to back the same.

Good compromise. I'm lowered on Eibach springs on standard wheels so effectively a front offset of 37 and it's very close to the arch liner. Lots of people use 12mm though so I guess that also works.
