Custom Cruise Control Loom

Post by srhutch » Thu May 25, 2017 9:00 pm

*****Please PM me if you would like a loom. Posts on here are not highlighted so I might miss them. *****

Looking to offer custom Cruise Control looms, these won't require any cutting of the loom around the LCM. Likewise at the ECU I look to provide the correct termination so no cutting required again.

At present cost is looking at £23 delivered for non ///M and £25 for ///M.

I am also happy to fit Cruise Control for the cost of the parts plus £50.

Any interest?

** Update **

Ready to start production. Things you should know and be happy about before parting with your cash.

1. All plug and play, but two wires will require heat shrink tube (supplied) to insulate and keep them together as it's not been possible to source plugs/sockets.

2. Due to the LCM pins being impossible to source I bought an LCM loom and will be using these tails, so not all looms will have the same wiring colours. All looms will be clearly labelled though so it will be easy to understand along with the instructions provided.

3. Any questions or queries please ask.

If I hadn't just fitted the BMW one I would have been very interested in this. I think the idea of a non-cutting loom with proper clear instructions is excellent !

I may well be very interested in this. Do you have any photos/guide for how to fit using the loom you have made?

Cheers,

Jon.

Hi srhutch,

Keep in mind that for some of us the attraction is not having to cut into any loom - might stretch a little further to avoid that - particularly if you could unplug your additional loom and have the Zed still working if it all goes t*ts up.
