This is mine from a 3.0i. If this'll clear the brakes on a 3.0 it'll clear them on yours.

FWIW i don't have mine in the boot because i like to fit more than a loaf of bread and a can of beans in there.....so i bought one of these instead.

Thanks for that..I have a couple of cans of "Goo" but it won't do much good with a proper blowout and I'm planning a trip to the North of Scotland where the mobile signal may not be so good if I have to call the RAC or whoever..it seems daft to get stuck up there for not having a spare of some description... :)

Just make sure if you take the spacesaver that in case you have to use it... you can actually fit the punctured wheel back in the boot with all your other gear.....
Z3... 3lt manual. Heated memory leather. Auto lights wipers. Xenons. Cruise. 230bhp.
Austin Mini automatic.... 998... 35bhp. Manual seats wipers lights...
Both as much Fun as each other!!!!

Or once your wife is settled in the passenger seat the luggage that won't fit in the boot can sit on her lap :D
Enjoy your trip :driving:

Yes, I always understood 16 inch was OK for 2.5s, but 3.0s need a 17 inch one to clear the bigger front discs.

Used it once and it worked a treat. Also have the standard issue compressor, a jack and a wheel brace in there.
