How to stop a cat scratching my roof/jumping on my car?
Hi all
Bit of a weird problem
I've noticed various paw marks over my car for a few weeks on the bonnet (when the car is dirty) and knew something was up
Anyway tonight I caught a very cute cat sat on my roof scratching it as if it's a scratch post!
Very minimal amount of damage, just fluffed it up a bit. Now I'm a massive animal lover so shooting it isn't an option before anyone suggests that lol. But what can I do to stop this cat jumping onto my car and also scratching my roof? If it carries on much longer I fear it may scratch through?

This is an age old problem, been discussed many times with no real solutions. I'd buy a cheap roof cover, the material may deter the cat

I use a cover but a neighbours cat took a liking to sleeping on it, I found a few weeks of "Get Off Spray" done the trick!

Here's my old thread about the same problem:

Still working a treat. I have a custom covers roof cover and have soaked it in the citrus screen wash.

Will share that with my neighbour, he's constantly cleaning cat hairs off the roof of his SL, mine lives in the garage luckily enough..Silverzedtom wrote: ↑Fri Jun 23, 2017 6:34 pm Here's my old thread about the same problem:

His owner's told me he's got a thyroid problem and he's half the weight he was in that photo. Little bag o bones at the mo. Don't think he's got long left. Poor little sod.srhutch wrote: ↑Fri Jun 23, 2017 7:27 pmLooks like he needs feeding up.Chris_D wrote: ↑Fri Jun 23, 2017 7:10 pmNah mike, i love cats init, esp the little fella below. I'm with Chris - we have cats, although they are 'house' cats so they aren't troubling anyone else.
