I initially put a 35w canbus kit from Ebay in mine, better but still not great. Swapped them last year for a 55w set, and the difference really is night and day. Perfect beam pattern, same as it was tith the H7's, just LOTS brighter.
Cost was about £20

One of the biggest improvements I got, before fitting the HIDS, is in this thread viewtopic.php?f=34&t=82010&hilit=headlight
Cleaning the actual lens, there are pics of mine before and after in the thread.

Fitted 35W hids about a month ago and way way better than halogen. I'm tempted to try the 55w version now I know they work okayDucklakeview wrote: ↑Fri Jun 23, 2017 6:00 pm I initially put a 35w canbus kit from Ebay in mine, better but still not great. Fitted ebay 55w hids about 2 months ago, really impressed with difference. One does occasionally not start if on auto lights... So if buying again would be tempted by a more reputable source.

Been looking at eBay, and I can't make up my mind and don't want to take the risk on a duff set that are £20-30 (unless anyone can recommend one).....
So on HIDSDIRECT I've seen these two that I think would suitable (again unless someone advises towards another thats on there)
http://www.hids-direct.co.uk/h7-55w-w9- ... rsion-kit/
and
http://www.hids-direct.co.uk/h7-55w-d-l ... rsion-kit/
Only problem is I have no idea what the difference is?!
The other thing is I think I'm going to go 6000K, but (and yes this may sound stupid) If Its not right can I just change out the lamps for the next K down?
Edit: or for that matter which of those? from what I've read 55W is the way to go, just which set

Hi Mike,
All arrived and work brilliantly! Hardest bit was where to house the lot. tried zip tying all sorts but in the end it all managed to house and sit nicely on the inner void of the light housing.
Great stuff, thank you! Next step is to clean the lenses but thats another day!

I managed to fit everything inside the headlamp. Give out plenty of light though don't they? How's your beam pattern?MartynFrancis wrote: ↑Sat Jul 01, 2017 5:46 pm Hi Mike,
