I wanted to know if you could post and confirm rpm at 75 mph...I'm thinking about putting in a 6 speed and wanted to know what the rpm are at 75 mph as I have a lot of commuting and set my cruise there every day but with the 5 speed I'm sitting at 3500 rpm for over an hour each way and hate it. Thanks!

The best I can do at this moment for you is at 60 mph it's 2,000 rpm.

+1 for 60mph commuting, around 2k rpm but more importantly 40+ mpg! Plus a more relaxed drive instead of fast slow fast slow driving...

on the si at 75 you're on about 2,8 /2,9 . much better just sticking to 70, won't add much on your commute, but saves plenty petrol03z4 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 24, 2017 12:40 pm I wanted to know if you could post and confirm rpm at 75 mph...I'm thinking about putting in a 6 speed and wanted to know what the rpm are at 75 mph as I have a lot of commuting and set my cruise there every day but with the 5 speed I'm sitting at 3500 rpm for over an hour each way and hate it. Ok so that's a decent rpm savings...I should easily be under 3k at 75...does anyone know if the rear ended is geared indentical between the 3.0si with 6 speed and 2.5 with 5 speed?
