E85 cup holder

Post by Dr-Jon » Mon Jun 26, 2017 9:09 pm

hi guys I don't normally post in this section as i have an e89, but it drives me crazy that there in no cup holder in the right hand drive cars.
so i was wondering if the cup holder from an e85 might fit if i cut a hold in the dash... I just sore one on eBay and the question for all you E85 ers is does the cover on the front come off or is it moulded on.
Thanks

E85 cup holder

If you're looking to make a cup holder work in the e89 I'd look at alternatives to the e85 units. I have had both fail on me and had to replace. The adjustable arm weakens over time and falls off. Luckily my can of coke was empty on the drivers side, and I saw the arm was about to fail on 'the Mrs' side'.

Not sure it would be an easy task getting them in properly either but good luck
