Mat, it doesnt need to be as bonkers as this...

Even with all that shiny race gubbins goin on under the bonnet that m54 still sounds like an owl taxi at idle :o

:o that's nuts. I love it.

It's a good job my Z is sleeping out back otherwise she'd have taken offence to your jab at the M54! I'll choose to forgive you though Chris. It's late and you've clearly been drinking.

And while we're doin' bonkers, check out this onboard z4 v8 VLN at the green hell.... He's being overtaken by everyone and his dog but the lambo/corvette ding dong going on in front is pure entertainment in itself :o

Haha u cheeky pup! Strictly a weekend boozer here. 8)
All M54's soundlike that under the bonnet at idle. Even the S54 in my old m3 sounded a bit clanky from up front.

I'm with you Chris my old Fiat Coupe sounded way better that the BMW 6s. Still love the S54B32 once it gets going though. The delivery is on another planet from T forced induction, even though it's not much faster than the Fiat was. It's just such a joy to play with the throttle and balance the car. :driving:
