Hi chaps not been on for a while been enjoying zed hope everyone is all good and doing the same my question is my oil change light will come on in 150 miles time, can i reset my mileage interval before light comes on so i can change oil in winter, don't want to drive around with light on if i don't have to thanks to all in advance. :thumbsup:

Why don't you change the oil and filter now?
Not exactly expensive or difficult
But will save your engine wear and life

Interesting OP - I'd have an oil change to keep the car fit for purpose, but you could always mess with the service interval and f*ck your car up! Good luck. :laugh:

Change you oil then. Doesn't have to be done on the dot. BMW allow a 750 mile over allowance for warranty purposes, so should give you time to get the oil changed.

Oil degrades over age (day to day) Aswell as use (mileage) but from your original post you said it will come on in 150 miles time, so it appears to be a mileage related oil service light rather than time?

The book schedule is too long anyway imho. Change it around 8k or annually and DIY.
