Clear rear brake light?

Hi guys, I've been debating whether to change my red rear brake light for a clear one. I believe these are standard on the M roadster?

Has anyone done the same and if so, do you have any pictures?

Clear brake light does it for me.

Clear are also about £10 cheaper than Red for some reason

Dead easy - 10 mins tops - just be careful not to overtighten the bolts - Alternatively you could purchase the new springs or cut the old ones down
A quick search on here will find you several 'how to's' - sorry have to dash or I could have posted the links

Dealers not much more than the bay.think mine was around £60 .phone harry Fairbairn dealer they will deliver for free .

By law do brake lights *have* to be red? I seem to recall they do..... will stand corrected.

I'm sure they have to illuminate red, but the 'off' colour is irrelevant. The clear brake light has red LEDs so still illuminates red.

Just picked up my new clear one, the other one seems to have broken apart, only lasted 3 years.
£54 with a bit of trade discount
