Grom Audio - aux in - worth having?

Post by eyup » Sat Jul 22, 2017 7:51 am

Hi guys,

Having read the various posts on here I have decided to buy a Grom USB and the Bluetooth add on. I already have 3,5mm jack aux in to the radio.

Do I gain any benefit from by buying the Grom aux in as well?

Also, the grom cable at £9.99 is quite pricey. Can anyone advise whether this is a Standard Din cable to 3.5mm jack and if so which type so I can buy as prices are much cheaper elsewhere but would they be compatible?

Thank you

The journey so far;
i) 1998 Ford Focus 1.8 Litre
ii) The Z
iii) what else is needed?

I got the AUX as well but to be honest I just use the USB, it may be slightly less hissy. I didn't bother searching for cables for the sake of a tenner.
