I'll be following this thread as it's something I'm interested in too.

Had a quick look on realoem last night and seem to recall that the rear brakes off a 330 aren't the same part numbers as an si Z, so would be interesting to hear what people say...

The fronts seem to have the same part numbers though so I'd guess carrier and caliper would be a drop on straight fit?

Is there much point? Isn't it a lot more work when the si brakes will just bolt on? Are you looking to do some serious track work?

330 and Si are the same brakes. Fronts straight bolt on with carriers, calipers, disk and pads. Nothing else required

Happy days, ignore me - though not worth worrying about the rears. I have a set of calipers that need a refurb if you wanted them.

This one is useful... if you read start to finish!!

You'll need new 330 carriers and calipers.
Then I'd use new 330 sensor and brake pads and discs.

Obviously if you manage to source 3.0si carriers and calipers then use stuff from that. Everything points to they being the same and interchangeable but they're different part numbers? So there's some difference somewhere?

If it doesn't work out let me know, I have a full set of calipers, they just need a complete strip and refurb which I've not yet got around to doing.

Just done it on mine, piece of cake and i've only done the fronts as the rear's won't work with the existing handbrake set up.

Cheers,

o
