Front Air Duct Filling Insert

Post by gideon87 » Sat Aug 19, 2017 3:45 pm

Im in the process of converting my bumper from the standard to an M version and i have 2 Front Air Duct Filling Inserts. This is probably a stupid question but what exactly does it do and where abouts does it fit

They're meant to direct air flow to the inner wheel arch, which i assume is for brake cooling.

I assume you're talking about these?

The filling inserts are the bits of plastic at the back of the air ducts. They block out most of the hole. Probably to stop any large bits of debris going through it.
