Postcode lottery...

Post by nfbr » Wed Feb 25, 2015 7:48 am

Hi Chris Knott insurance!

By any chance do you guys provide cover for lightly modified Z4's in the M44 postcode?
Or are you postcode racists like many other modified insurers?

I love how this never got a reply!

Needless to say I went with Brentacre Insurance Services for my modified policy.
I'm guessing CKI don't like Manchester or Higher risk areas.

A modded performance car in a high risk area - you can understand their reluctance!

Is sending an email in an open forum the best way to contact them though?

Hi nfbr, I'm really sorry I missed this. I can't have got a notification originally as I wouldn't choose to ignore your question.

The modifications are not an issue. The only problem we might have had at your postcode would be the parking. I'd need the next digit of the code to be able to tell you what the parking requirements are.

sorry again for the lack of response.

best,
Nick

When they reply to everyone else so quickly, they set a standard which people (myself included) expect them to live up to...
