Well it's that time of the year again.
I normally use a local broker for my insurance and just had renewal come through at £287
Just a quick go on compare.com and can get it through Esure for £211 with £250 less excess now at £300

Who is anyone else using and how does my price compare to theirs ?

This is for a young driver of 48 years :P with wife on policy and for a 2004 3.0i roadster

cheers

I've just insured with the AA for around £250 which I thought was reasonable

Ditto, same age and car last year was cheap but shopping around recently I couldn't get it below £220 with a low excess.

I also found all the comparison sites were within a few pounds of each other probably due to huge companies like BISL who run about twelve of the big insurance brands and are effectively dictating the market with a couple of other big operators. This sort of activity is referred to by (industry friendly) regulators as "efficiencies of scale working for the benefit of customers" but used to be called a price fixing cartel :x

Where do you live down-town Baghdad? either something is loading the premium like location or occupation, or you are being seen off at your age with full NCB :?
