Well its gone

Post by chasBMW » Mon Aug 03, 2015 1:18 pm

On Saturday I picked my new car a Porsche Boxster GTS so the Z has gone , usually I dont look back but will admit that at some levels felt a bit sad , If I had the money & space I would have thrown a dust sheet over it and and kept it because whilst they might never be a classic they are a pretty special thing.

I will also say I have enjoyed my time on this forum it seems to consist mainly of nice people and it has been entertaining & informative & being honest I will probally still look to see how things are going

Cheers
Charlie

I have now had 4 z4's (2xe86,2xe89) so time for a change , briefly thought about an M4 but I dont need a car that big so I looked around and decided that a boxster would fit the bill , and so far im quite pleased when I can remember how will post a photo

its nice but i much prefer the e89 styling and lack of rag top or like clarkson once said, the front and arse look the same on the boxster :poke:

The E89 can be stunning from certain angles but dare i say ugly from others . :o
I think the current Boxster & Cayman creations are both sublime in looks & the interiors make me seriously consider taking out some finance  .
I know i could love either

Enjoy the Porsche. When I get round to it,my next one will be a Cayman.I already have a Cayenne, and the service from Porsche is second to none, streets ahead of BMW.

That new Cayman is gorgeous.... What a stunning car.
The side vent and body line has made all the difference to the look.

Its a car on the list when the drop into my price bracket (in about 10 years!!!)....

Love the look of the Porsche - but none of the convertibles have a powered roof, do they? Its one of the best comfort features of the e89.
