Updates each year or two aren't a critical feature in my opinion .
They don't often move towns and cities - its mainly new housing estates that require the additions.
The sat Nav often shows me driving through fields down the A1 but it soon corrects itself. Full post codes are useful tho. My advice is wait until well outdated , then consider a re install but at which time you will also be considering a change of car!
You don't stop playing when you get old - You get old when you stop playing!
So I bought a 35is with all the toys to play with.

Interesting. Is there a how to on this?
I posted a brief DIY for it here: viewtopic.php?f=46&t=94090

I've been using it since without any issues.

There is a two year USB map update available from BMW directly, I havent used this yet as mine are up to date but from what I recall when I checked it out the price wasnt outrageous.

This post on Bimmerfest suggests that retrofitting is a completely impossible task. Looks like I'll have to cough up extra for a model specced with one or I'll have to wait til one becomes available in my price range.

I'm so damn mad I missed that one last week. It had EVERYTHING on it.

Post a "Wanted" add on here and specify your essentials and desirables - it's a good time of year to buy!
