I really don't like it, it's triple the cost of what I'm doing, I don't want CF and the 1 person I know who bought one had a nightmare with it as it didn't fit!

Fair enough. Wasn't suggesting you should buy one. Just pointing out the design and how to solve the gap problem you had.

jimbo1958 wrote: Thu Oct 05, 2017 5:55 pm Thanks for the update Steve......still not sure how he'll address the gap between the splitter and the vent part of the bumper that slopes towards the centre. Any thoughts?
He's spoken to me about some sort of nylon material which will sandwich between the splitter and the bumper. The centre part will be open.
Cheers Steve.........can't wait to see the finished article.

I'd be interested in a CF one, if that's an option?

He will also produce a Carbon skinned one. I've specifically asked for an OEM finish like the BMW Performance items as I have no CF on my car and it seems silly to put CF on a front Splitter that is bound to scrape on the floor on a lowered car!

OK sounds good, I've got quite a few CF bits on the car so would like to stick with that theme if possible.

Just waiting on more pics to be sent! This has only been done roughly so the spacing needs sorting etc.

Looking good, definitely interested to see how this turns out

What sort of plastic will it be made from? Standard ABS stuff?

Is this part here suppose to have a gap between the lip/bumper?

The 3D-lip follows the bumper here.
