Heated windscreen

The description says E86 but the dodgy photo appears to be e89: Heated windscreen.
Has anyone here successfully fitted a heated windscreen to their E89?

Do you mean yours does not have one already i.e. a non heated rear screen?
Or do you mean you have a damaged screen?

Either way autoglass will do it very economically.

Windscreen (front), not rear window.

These things if you've never had one before aren't great. My Fiesta ST has this, they are horrible to look through at night and it's worth remembering Ford had to place the DAB aerial and GPS Antenna in specific places to avoid interference with it. Could end up making it useless. Plus if you crack these on the road who is replacing it? Autoglass and insurance won't bring you another. Avoid.

Ive had one in a mondeo ST, a Fiesta ST, a Focus TDCi (x2) an Evoque and a Kuga (x2) ...(.dont ask, Ive had way too many cars)...

Anyway, the only car where I found it an issue was in the 2016 Kuga....don’t know why (maybe it’s to do with screen angle) but that was really annoying, you were always aware of it.
All the others, no issue at all, I think it’s an excellent invention.
Dunno that I’d waste money on an aftermarket one though?

Quick research, would seem some earlier BMW's had a heated panel below the wipers to defrost in winter. Seems like a good idea, but I suppose cost cutting and making the shield more expensive killed the idea off.
