Check your tyres!
I have the same tyres albeit on 18" that are older with more miles on them and have even wear right across the tyre using the recommended pressures.
It really does look like its been driven on flat. Even the marks on the wheel look like rubber has been in contact with it.
I am sure I have read something similar a few months ago and it was thought that raised speed bumps were catching the inside of the tyre and causing damage. You said there arnt many, do you park up and down pavements?

Check your tyres!
Was this all the tyres or just the one? I would say you have an underlying problem somewhere there.djstan wrote: ↑Sat Dec 02, 2017 11:56 pm Swapped onto my winter wheels today; I was conscious that my summer tyres were getting very close to the limit and have been checking regularly, so when the guys who changed my wheels over told me that the rears were shot, I wasn't particularly surprised.
However, when I got home and started to put the summer wheels in the garage, I was genuinely shocked at what I'd found on the inside edge of the tyres - see the pictures! I've been diligent in checking the tread but I had no idea that the inside edge was so bad - looks like an accident waiting to happen.
Short of jacking the car up every week to check the inside of the tyres, I'm not sure how I would have been able to spot this, but my word of warning is simply to check your tyres before going for a spin!

It's ok fella. I noticed when they were down to about 2mm and finished them off with a couple of naughty doughnuts and wheelspins.
Winters on now. 5th season for them now unbelievably and there's still plenty of meat left all round. I do tend to drive more conservatively in the winter months tho.
If anyone nortices some long black lines in the Gamma carpark in Vleuten it er....wasn't me

Hm, well I didn't *think* I had been tear-arsing-about! I mean, I enjoy a good drive but nothing like going round corners on two wheels or anything like that!!

Just the two rears. Try as I might, I can't get the bridgestones to wear down on the front! (I'm changing all 4 in the spring regardless)..
