I found something new about my 09 35i. Previously it seemed that the boot release didn’t do anything and I had to unlock using the boot button on the key. I have it set so that one press of the unlock button only unlocks the drivers door and it needs another press before the passenger door unlocks. What I didn’t realise is that the second press also unlocks the boot so that it can be released & opened using the boot release on the boot.
I realise this is probably old news to most of you but it was a revelation to me!

Yep, I’d spotted that but I didn’t realise it affected the boot.
