Evening all.
As winter is quick approaching, and the first for my z, any suggestions?
I currently have 19" run flats.
Local dealer quoting £2500 for alloy/ tyre combo....
I put winters on my x5 & ml last week through event tyres a around £275 a corner fitted
I will need to drive z throughout winter unless heavy snow
Tx in advance

You going to keep those alloys and tyres? Give me a bell if you want to sell them.....

Definitely keep both, just need something to put on over winter.
Tried winter tyres on our x5 3.0sd last year first time, the differenc it made was huge.
I would rec to everyone.

I've just been looking for my 23i.
www.mytyres.co.uk -> Complete Wheels -> Alloys with winter tyres -> pick your car.
Cheapest I can see is £150ish for wheel and tyre. That's with "Achilles - Winter 101" tyres. Have decent reviews on the net, bet they're better than my RE050's when the snow hits! Just aren't run flats though - a can of tyre weld for an emergency will do.
Can't decide whether to buy 2 or 4 though - i'm skint so would prefer just the 2 if I could get away with it!
