Here's a decent priced car that keeps catching my eye:

http://www.fraserchadwickmotors.co.uk/used-cars/BMW

It's really tempting, but it's the same colour as my 2.5 and doesn't have parking sensors. Although it's 4 years newer than mine, it's mileage is slightly more but still very low!
Reckon it would cost me mine plus £7k and I think I would question whether or not going from a 2009 2.5 to a 2013 2.8 Msport was worth £7k?
Any thoughts? I currently feel that the 2.5 sounds lovely and is a very pleasing car which has seen most of its depreciation out. The 2.8 probably has a good few thousand £ of depreciation to go and is it worth paying £7k on top of what I have already?

2.8 msport

In direct comparison i think the 28i would feel quicker due to the turbo feel & remapped would feel very potent .
It would be noticeably harsher on Msport + 19s , only you know if the extra £7k is worth the spend

Worth a mention for those hunting 35Is / white 2010 Msport I was close to buying from its private owner for £15200
: both rear 296s have splits in them ( repaired) + 1 of the 4 adaptive ride shocks replaced
Sold on to a dealer , you make up your own mind if its worth the ask

I suppose many would think it's a lot of money for a 7 year old car in a private sale.
Even worse now with the dealer mark up. I suppose the finance/warranty will make someone take the plunge tho....

It's £18k and getting up on miles....
I'd say it's well overpriced considering we are heading towards the winter...

If we were to sell ours for £10k I would be disappointed but to be fair it would mean that we had only lost £2k a year during our ownership which is a lot less than the original owners.
Id guess the above car was Se spec ? 09 59 ? £10k about where they are in the market , Msport add £1500 maybe more at a dealer :?
Missed this as have been away for a while. Yes, mine is a SE and not the Msport
59 plate sDrive23i 2.5
