E89 Boot liner

New Z4 just delivered! Apparently BMW no longer make a boot protector and I can only find one online, which seems to fit the centre section only. I'm probably asking too much to find one that fits across the whole boot given its complex shape, but I optimistically think I may be able to get an outboard motor in there and ideally wanted the carpet protected. Anyone got any ideas? Given the outboard often drips seawater it would be important to have a boot protector with a lip if possible. Have searched ebay etc but can only find the cut to fit mat types, rather than the moulded tray type

This is/seems to be the best one I've found so far ...

Great, thanks. That seems to exactly what I was looking for, albeit ideally across the full width of the boot, but perhaps given the shape that isn't possible

I bought a universal one on eBay, £6 from Euro car parts. It took my ten mins to trim to size and bingo...

Just ordered the one I found above. Hesitated, because, with VAT & carriage, it's £93!

Will report how good it is when it arrives by surface carrier from Italy.

I have this...worth every penny - Laser measured and fits like a glove. Protects the carpet and water proofs the boot floor from spillages. £60 from Weathertech (works out £97 after tax and carriage).

Good quality. Expensive.
