Goodbye - it's been fun!

Post by InvisibleName » Sat Feb 18, 2017 8:23 am

After 6 years of Z4 driving (E89 35iS & 28iS) I've finally gone back to 4 seats (grandchildren transportation) and changed over to a shiny new M140i (with sunroof - needed to have the option of at least some sky over my head). This forum has been a great source of information & smiles, and I know that, come summer, I will miss the roof down, but needs must! Mind, the fantastic straight 6 is going to be some compensation!!!

A sunroof! That must be rare as hens teeth on a new 1 series. I know I haven't see a single car with one and I must have looked at 100+ between Sept and Nov when we were buying.
Good luck with it, I know from personal experience the 135i is a great car so the 140i must be pretty damn impressive.

Congrats, they're a fine motor and loving mine. I specced the sunroof as well which didn't work on collection day

Great news, hope you have many years of 'single key press' roof operation! :D
