Panel gaps

Went to see a car yesterday - it was close to what I'm looking for so took a good look. One thing that struck me, though it may be a 'feature' to facilitate smooth bonnet open/close. The gap looks uneven, both sides.

Happens the car wasn't right for me anyway, but I'd like to know if it's a concern.

They have a lot of adjustment so it may just need setting up properly.

Was the bonnet latched correctly on both sides?

Mines looked like that. I gave them a slight adjustment with a 10mm socket but beware you get paranoid and can over do the adjustments and make them look worse, granted it's just a case of loosening and readjusting.

Also the angle and light can make the gaps seem perfect or slightly out sometimes. Same with taking pictures, it can make them look more off than they are.

Thanks all. Reassuring to know - I assumed the worst and it was a dodgy repair job.

Mine is the same, may mean that the front bumper has been taken off and replaced at some stage.

What Tim said ^^
Mine looked like this & when I pressed down on the bonnet I heard it click into the latch on the "odd" side-panel gap fixed :)
