If you're offering, as I'm seriously not local so it would have to be pretty perfect for the trip!

I bought the first Z from Hungerford and the second one from London (BMW Auc) and I'm up in NE England ! The London car was bought sight unseen and was paid for and delivered to the door with the proviso that if it was not Exactly as described, I could send the driver back with the car and all monies returned.henryjames wrote:If you're offering, as I'm seriously not local so it would have to be pretty perfect for the trip!
If the car is not as they describe it, warts and all - negotiate the return rail fare

So I bought a 35is with all the toys to play with.

Mine was delivered free gratis by the dealer - it was driven up by a very steady ex army chap. (London to Durham)
The car you show (Coopers ) is a very similar spec to the one I traded in last September. It's also about the same price as I was given. My car was an auto tho and in my opinion, is worth having.

My current car and my previous one were both bought from garages in the London area and they both were happy to send me a very detailed video of the car inside and out so I knew what I was buying. If your interested ask for avideo to be sent and if still interested happy to have a look.ronk wrote:Mine was delivered free gratis by the dealer - it was driven up by a very steady ex army chap. The car has to be described accurately - warts and all - or it goes back with the driver
The only commitment that I had to make was to give the fella a lift to the station. I did that but also fed and watered him. I thought everyone would do that but apparently not!

That's a tidy looking example with some decent options. That probably won't hang around for long.Swiftly wrote:I assume you checked the BMW Approved used cars? Been on the hunt since January thinking I'd grab a bargain during the winter. I've spotted three now and they've all been snapped up before I even got to see them (last one was being prepared by an approved dealer and didn't even get photos posted). All this suggests that the market for a 35i & 35is is still fairly hot in my opinion? Then again my wish list is prettty fussy!henryjames wrote:yes, that would be an idea!
