I am but don't really get much out of it, but you could argue that's down to me.

Ah, they finally found someone to replace me after I stopped years back. I gave up due to the lacklustre interest from the general Z4 community towards the BMWCCGB. My introduction post here about the car club went down like a fart in a spacesuit. Think I dealt with 2 queries via their own forum in the years I helped out. Gave up on them, and used the membership fee on hooning instead...Fishy Dave wrote:Hello,

Sad days, but the car club has been marginalised by forums like this and social media groups who provide better engagement. They do make a decent monthly magazine though, so that's a bonus... Even better is that most of their regions allow you go to their events without being a member anyway
Good luck

Oh, and putting 2 and 2 together, your appointment as the register rep probably explains why the deluge of SPAM I was getting from their dodgy email system has stopped

I am
Like most clubs you get out what you put in. There are advantages to being a member often not seen by non-members - like last year when I got one of the only 1000 invites worldwide to take my car to the BMW Festival in Munich and had the time of my life !

Not for me - I have no interest at all in anything BMW makes these days!
Don't want a dieseasel, a turbo, a 4 cylinder engine, an auto, any DCT/flappy-paddle nonsense - so that is the last decade ruled out!
BMWs just seem to be designer white goods these days - if I had the budget the only new car I would buy would be a manual Mustang GT with a V8!

Yes I'm a member and have been to some events although not for a couple of years. I must admit I find the regional structure a bit baffling. It appears to be only loosely based on geography!

Sounds like the BMW brand has annoyed you somehow ?Mr Tidy wrote:Not for me - I have no interest at all in anything BMW makes these days!
