I really like the sports seats in my e89. I wouldn't have got an e89 with standard seats though.

They suit the car well, how can you prefer that fast & furious tawdry style? :P

Just wish mine were heated, had a lumber support and a proper seat belt guide on the seat.

I quite like this option sadly never available in the UK as it was a limited model.

Think the seats in the Merc look fantastic. Have to admit the E89 seats look a little boring. Does BMW ever make really sporty looking seats??

Out of the standard seats in the E85 (utter s**t ) the sports seats and the E89 sports seats. I found the E89 seats the best and most supporting. E85/86 sports seats look nice but once on the track give no useful body support.

The seats match the interior design of the car, minimalist with smooth lines..
As a seat to sit in the sport seats are very good ...

Them cross stitch quilted things are awful, just looking at them would make a pig spew up..

I suppose the real question is how do m sport e89 seats compare in terms of comfort/support rather than aesthetics to seats from the competition made during the e89's 09-17 production run.

What do we think?

Those cross stitched seats look like Henry VIII's waistcoat material.

Judging by the photographs I wonder if the OP should be considering a gypsy caravan rather than a BMW ... :?

You're in a minority here, lack of heated seats puts most people off buying a car-it's a luxury in winter top down driving :driving:

They might not be tarted up but they fit me like a glove, I can drive from Cornwall to Keswick and get out feeling like I've only driven 10 miles not 400.
