Hi there guys

As you can see from the pic the button on my sunglasses compartment has somehow been damaged, dont ask me how, its a mystery. I wonder if anyone knows if you can replace the actual button or if you would need to replace the whole compartment?. If so does anyone know the part no or even what you call this compartment so I can search on line for some sort of replacement part. Cheers

Perhaps a salvage breaker might be a cheaper option and worth investigating?

Can't help with the part availability but the 'damage' looks like the surface reaction to a cleaner fluid or air freshener oil I've seen on some other BMW plastics.
