Tyre Pressures

Post by TheBows » Sun Mar 26, 2017 9:50 am

Hello,

Anyone got an opinion on the correct tyre pressures? I have heard the recommendations from BMW are debatable. I have 255/30R19 91Y on the rear and 225/35R19 33Y on the front. The BMW recommendation is Front 2.3 bar (33 psi) and Rear 2.8 bar (41psi).

Any thoughts?

Good starting point although the rear is on the high side.

Bottomline: experiment a little & do what feels good for you. I'm doing 2.4 bar on the front & 2,5 bar on the rear ut i'm on 18" square setup

On which car?
What are the BMW recommended pressures?
And, whichever E89, why is your rear so low?
:)

E85, with Non RFT.

Don't know the exact tyre pressure recoomandation because i run a non standard tyre setup (225/40/18F & 235/40/18R) but this feels good for my needs. 2.8 rear is too stiff/bumpy

So, that's non-standard pressures in non-standard tyres and not on an E89, then. :)
