What will be the impact if I would go for the 265/35 rear and 235/35 front?
This is the MPSS tyre setup I run with 326 alloys so keen to learn of any dangers too...
What was the reason behind your decision of going for this size and have you had any issues so far.

What issues am I supposed to be looking for or potentially experiencing?

Rubbing on wheel arches mainly but as Mr Wilks metioned also do they look like they've been over inflated or "balloony" looking.

Not noticed either to be honest.

Mr Wilks helped me with selecting this tyre choice but to be fair I was switching from the 326 to CSL style alloys (which were 9.5j). I just (wrongly?) assumed the tyres would be ok to go back on the 326 alloys when I reverted back.

If you post up some pics that would help a lot , the numbers on tyres / rims & offsets only really factor when you edge towards the limit either way , 265 35 on a 9.5j is heading towards the boundary (imo) but still workable if the car isn't super low , 265 35 19 on 9j is pretty much the boundary for a sports car although it would most likely beyour front arches that gave sign of rubbing with a 235 35 19 8j ?

No worries - will do over the weekend. I can't say that I have noticed any rubbing.

It all makes sense now with your tyres recommendations here viewtopic.php?f=49&t=91142 being based on 8.5j & 9.5j alloys vs the 326's. I didn't give the tyres a second thought when I had them switched over to the 326's  . Only covered 1-2k miles since though.

Thanks a lot. The arches look like they can take a full boot and two passengers.
For now I think I'll go with 265 tyre width but will try to get more info on the possible 35/40 or 30/35 aspect ratios. If I get 35/35 looks like there will be 10mm difference in rolling radius between front and back and I still need to learn what that means :headbang:

I am running 245 / 19 Contis front and 275mm / 19" Contis in the rear. Ride quality is dramatically better and handling on Mulholland Drive with the bigger rubber is significantly improved. Plus, the fat tires make the car look that much more aggressive.

I mention Mulholland because it is rather famous twisty road. It's good on other roads as well

Which profile did you go for - 30 rear 35 front or the 35 rear and 40 front.
