In the end, I like them more as each day passes. Understated, clean cut and less blingy than much fancier designs. Straight lines and easy to clean satin finish sets off the silver paint and draws the eye to the glossy curves of the E89. The new Conti 'Extreme Contact' tires are very nice. Track straight and true, and they grip like a Badger. I noticed much faster hook ups and turns like a slot car. I couldn't break them free without trying really hard. $1200 well spent.
The clear coat on these wheels is a satin finish and a coat of Dr. Beasley's Matte Paint Coating (http://www.drbeasleys.com/matte-paint-coating.html), while expensive, it goes a very long way and protects the paint from holding dirt and brake dust. I used this on my old wheels and it is still is working despite a season of winter driving on treated roads. I drove 300 miles yesterday and did a quick wash on my return. The brake dust just rinsed off the dust with just hose pressure - no soap used at all. NICE!

it's the colour that doesn't work imo! gun metal would sort it out.

I totally agree. In plain silver they would look well 'plain' but in this colour they look amazing!

Nope. Can't see it on a silver E89. The dark silver, "Gun Silver" in the US, makes for a beautiful wheel, but looks too raceboy to me. But thats what makes the world go 'round!Tabz123 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 19, 2017 11:09 pmNanu wrote: ↑Wed Apr 19, 2017 7:36 pmNow those I likesi-forks wrote: ↑Tue Apr 18, 2017 7:39 pm Love them very clean modern unfussy

I like them, they look smart and quite OEM so I'm surprised at the number of negative responses!

Not over keen on the wheels but good to see something different, really like the blue calipers ( is there part of the front caliper that is dark grey ? ). I also think that your wheels would better in a dark grey
I am also very keen on the "dare" wheels.

Wheels are nice enough, I'd probably run a million miles from the tyres though
