My first car, a BMW Z4

Post by pupeno » Wed Apr 19, 2017 11:17 am

I posted a few times here and I was asked to share pics of my recent acquisition: a 2010 BMW Z4 sDrive23i. It is actually my first car (although I've been driving on and off for more than 10 years, but I never purchased a car before). In a recent road trip I finally found a nice place to take some pictures and this is it:

Mine was a crappy old Vauxhall Astra. I can feel a new thread starting! :P

Welcome Aboard pupeno. You mentioned you have actually been driving for over 10 years so that must put you in your late 20's /early 30's at least. Even so, having never owned a car before you wont have any no claims so insuring a zed must be pricey. Unless of course you got a introductory discount for driving company vehicles etc.

Not only that, but I only got my British driving license last October :fuelfire:. I'm originally from Argentina, I got my driving license there when I turned 18 (I'm 34 now). When I moved to Spain I exchanged it for a Spanish one but they wouldn't exchange for a British one so I had to take the test here.

Insurance was around £850/year
